just want to ask if there's a way and how to disable the call log option on avaya H323 9600 phones. we are not using an SIP 9600 phones.

Avaya 9600 phone call log issue

Hi Dikoa. The answer to your question seems to be in the same area as mine ( 96xx Series Handset Call Log), and answered by Mitch672.
I have looked at Mitch's answer and also in the 46xxsettings.txt file is an entry called ENHDIALSTAT. Looks like if you set this value to 0 then Call Log is disabled.
(Edit the file, remove the 2 #'s and set the ENHDIALSTAT value to 0, then reboot phone) looks like there are 2 other settings for this APPSTAT and OPSTAT, but these do not apply to 96xx handsets.
Hope this helps. I also discovered that the 46xxsettings.txt file does not naturally exist in the /inetpub/ folder on the HTTPs server. You have to manually put it there.
