Avaya 9508 " System not responding waiting "

I have a problem to connect Avaya 9508 with Ip office R 7.0.36 and he give me this message :

" No application firmware waiting for FW download "

" System not responding waiting... "

Check your TFTP server.

Seems like the phone is asking for a file that does not exist on the server.

this is digital phone not IP Phone

How would you prefer the file transfer to take place then, if TFTP is not an acceptable methode?

Doesn't matter, if it's an IP500 it still needs a TFTP server to serve files for the digital handsets....
