Avaya 412 controller has lost config 1

one of the engineers has At-x the box and it has no config or database left on the module , what can be done ?
 
Hope there is a config some where on the customers Network.

If only AT-X was used and not AT-X2 and AT-X3 the config should still be on the 412. Only the system software is gone.
Setup a TFTPServer or Manager with the correct bin files for Software release the 412 was on. and look at this FAQ


After the IPO412 gets it's bin-file the the system should be working again.

If all AT-X commands were used load the systemsoftware on the 412 then upload a recent backup to the unit.
 
the box is sitting with a red light on it , looks like i have a system with f 'all on it ...i have the disk with the ip412.bin file where should it be dropped , also the bootp request is trying to process from a 42.9 address , i thought the 2 address used were 42.1 & 43.1

help...
 
Edit your bootp entry in the manager to the x.x.42.9 address. Put the binary file in the manager directory
and point the directory to that.
Read the FAQ mentioned above for more information how to restore this IPOffice.
 
an ip office that is default can get an ip adress between 192.168.42.1 and 192.168.42.10.
always give your pc an adres higher then 10 !!!
