Avaya 1608 IP Factory Reset

Hi All,

I am struggling to return an Avaya IP 1608 phone to factory default, I have tried the option of going to the Command Line in the boot up settings and when I hit Mute then type reset# I get no response from the unit and also other units I have tried.

Any assistance with removing the base extension on these handsets would be appreciated or how to factory default?

Ive worked this out and for anyone else that needs help with this, you need to use the procpswd before the command, so if you press mute then craftclear # this will work either from the command line in the boot up options or when the phone is logged in and idle.
