HEllo all,
We are facing dial tone issue with Avaya-1608 phones:
Issue: We have 100s of Avaya 1608 phone connected to our network and sometime we are facing the dial tone issue, we have to try 4-5 times (ex: loud speaker button on and off) to get dial tone on phones, i can say this issue is occurring to some of user(10-20%), i have checked the firewall log and couldn't find any major discard but DNS port 23 to DC server. DHCP has configured on fortigate firewall itself for these phones.
We have checked with the vendor as well but all they say the issue is with firewall policy. could it be port issue?
Could somebody help on this issue.
