Hello,

Management is requesting disk space available and disk space used numbers. How do I give them the total numbers? df -k only gives the filesystem numbers.

well some use

lsvg -p rootvg for a list of what disks are in rootvg and what is free on them...
Maybe you can also run for whatever other volume groups you have created.

Some other commands of use?

lspv (which disks are in which volume group and which you have on system)
lspv hdisk0 (size of that disk free and used)
lspv -l hdisk0 (lists lvs on that disk

lsvg rootvg (total free in rootvg on all disks and used)
lsvg datavg or whatever will give used and free
