Automating Crystal Reports

I have Crystal Reports 8.5 and I was wondering if there was a way that I can automatically set up Crystal to run a report at 12:00 am, every month.

I can use microsoft task manager, but all that does is start the program, not actually run it.

There are a number of BO's tools (such as Crystal Reports Server or Crystal Enterprise) - but 8.5 is no longer supported so you may need to upgrade to the XI version.

There are also well as 3rd-party tools (see a list at

Some of the 3rd-party tools still support version 8.5

If you have the ability, you can also write your own VB or .NET application to run the report at a certain time.
