I'm trying to automate access macros and have stumbled upon the docmd object in access help but there is no mention of it in vb6 help. Could i get some pointers please.

That's because it does not exist in vb6. Use the access help, or msdn. I too use the access objects from within vb6 (reports, etc.) and I got most of my info. thru the internet and msdn like I was doing it in MS Access.<br><br>Hope this helps :0)<br><br>Gary
