I have two business objects reports which i need to run (and refresh) and print at the same time evryday. Is it possible to add either a VBA macro or some other function to the document that will perform this task automatically.

It would also be good if i could get the reports to save each time they are run using the date saved as a filename. Any help that anyone can offer me will be gratefully appreciated.

In Scheduler I had given "BoFirst" as the file name. Actually can you tell me how it works. Where the VB automation code is stored.. is it with BOFirst.rep.
How scheduler opens the report etc.. please tell me..

Thanks

Did you successfully create an icon (shortcut) to the report yet?

The code you wrote in the Visual Basic Editor inside of your report... that will run when you open the report because it's in Document_Open. So by rights, however you open the report, as soon as it opens the code will run.

Next step is to get the user id and password, etc passed in successfully... I usually do this with an icon first. The info you need, ie what to put in the target line, etc. is in this thread.

After that works, you should be able to use the Task Shedule Wizard that comes up when you 'Add a scheduled Task' in Win98. You'll put your target line from the icon in as the command line in the scheduler.
