Is there a way to setup exchange 2000 to automatically purge messages after a designated period of time?

The voice mail system for our VoIP system (which was End-of-lifed about 3 years ago) runs on Exchange2000 and our last remaining customer is having problems where their disk space is being exhausted.

I'm looking for an option other than having them visit each mailbox and deleting files manually.
 
Exactly what Mailbox Management is for. You set it up under SM, you setup the policy under Recipient policies, then setup the schedule under the properties of your server.
