I'm using Microsoft Excel 2003 Standard

Is there anyway to set up in page options or something a way to alterate a light-grey background for every other row during print so I don't have to manually color every other line?

not in page options - can be done with conditional formatting but then you have a big set of background calcs before you even put any data on the sheet

condition under FORMULA IS option would be something like
=INT(row()/2)=row()/2

Bah, I suppose I will just program a database in Access and print it out through Crystal Reports or in quick html or something.

Thanks anyway.

Sorry - I didn't mean to put you off - the conditional formatting will add some overhead but it should only be an issue if you are intending on creating a large workbook with lots of calcs.

If you are creating something quite simple then there is no reason that this approach shouldn't work - I just wanted to give you a warning before you embarked on this approach
