Hello,
Does anyone have the method to start directly into Terminal Server without logging on to the network with a W2K Workstation?
This is what I do with a W9x machine.
1.
I Install the Terminal Service Client on the PC.
2.
I Install a VB program I wrote that makes a connection to a Connection I made in the Connection Manager.
3.
I change the setting in the system.ini shell=XXXX
with XXXX being the program I wrote to start a TS connection from the Connection Manager.
4.
I delete the Client for Microsoft Network out of the Network settings, but I leave the TCPIP.
5.
I reboot the machine.
When it comes back it starts immediately with connecting to the terminal server.
My question is:
Is there some kind of procedure that does the same for Windows 2000 Pro. I actually need to know where I can get out the network connection of the Workstation itself.
And also, how can you start a program directly on boot of the PC.
Tnx,
YO
