Is there a way if you have a dial up connection that will automatically connect you to the internet?

Yes, go into IE - Tools - Internet Options - Connections. From there choose Always dial my default connection.

Did his suggestion work? In most connection boxes, there's a place to check for "automatically connect." This depends on your OS, of course.

i'm sorry, I don't understand the question. are you talking about to "automaticly connect" when opening an internet program or when you start your computer. or are you wanting it to stop?
