Hi All

Whenever I type the address besides "To: " I want Microsoft Outlook to check the name automatically and underline the addressee.(As it works with "Ctrl K")

Will the above thing work only if i have the addresses in my CONTACTS? or how?

It doesnt work for me even if I have that address in my CONTACTS.
I have my exchange in the US which I access from India.

The addresses are not related with the domain concept.

Guys.... please throw some light...

Thnx.......

Its Outlook 2000 configured on HP Open mail........

Thnx

This is not really an exchange question - it is an outlook question.

In outlook 2000: Tools, Options, Email Options, Advanced Options -- towards the bottom, there is a box to check for "automatic name checking"

Also, your addresses need to be in contact lists that are outlook address books, AND in Tools, Services, Addresses tab: "when sending mail check names using these address lists in the following order": make sure that all your contact lists are there.
