Automate Mail merge when file is opened in Word 2000

Hello,

I'm having some trouble trying to get a Word 2000 mail merge to automatically insert the data from it's data source(TAB-Text file)when the file is opened. I know you can do it in VBA, but I was wondering if there is a way to do it in the mail merge wizard that I missed. Thanks for the help!

Hi Dutt!

I've never seen a way to do it from the wizard but, if you record a macro of the mail merge want to do, you can name the macro autoexec and it will run when the file is opened.
