Autoloader Media Not Mounting

Hi, I'm having problems getting my BE working in tandem with my HP Autoloader.

All seems well after the Veritas install, (3878 revision), the HP drive is visible in 'Devices' and the media is shown in the 'Slots' as unrecognised.

I have performed an 'Import' on each of these tapes and although the percentage activity read zero, it said 'Completed Successfully' in the log.

I then tried to run an inventory and the activity stated that the job was 'Active' but nothing happened for the 45 mins I left it running. It's as if the Veritas is having trouble communicating with the 'loader. (I have disabled the Removable Storage service).

Also, the media I'm using has not been used in any other backup software before.

Has anyone ever seen this?

Which drivers are you using...Veritas or HP? You should be using Veritas drivers. Also, do you have the Veritas BE license for the Library (library expansion option)?
