Autocomplete Feature

Does anyone know what might be some reasons to use, access, or modify the user field in the AutoComp.DBF table?

I suppose it is there for a comment etc...

It's stated purpose is: "Specifies user information."

I could envisage developers writing extensions to the Autocomplete feature. If they do, the User field is available to let them add their own data.

More likely, it's just a Microsoft convention. There are similar fields in many of the VFP meta-tables, so maybe they are just trying to be consistent.
