Hi,

I know how to create an On UPdate event procedure to refine the options in one combo box based on another. However, I have a situation where the first selection limits the second to a single possibility. Sooo, what I'd LIKE to do is change the second combo box to a text box, and have the On Update event automatically set the value in that text box based on a query/SQL statement (actually set the value rather than just limiting the options).

Haven't been able to figure it out on my own. Can anyone help?? Please?? :)

Thanks!
Liz

you don't have to use an event.

just put into the control source of the text box:

=combobox.column(1)

put the column number of the field you want from the combo box. Remember, Column #1 = 0, Column #2 = 1, and so on...
