Hi there,

A strange thing.
What I would like to do is this:

I have got a table with the number of the month, name of the month, number of days in a month.
With this I want to create a form creating a combobox of the name of the month.
When changing the name of the month via the combobox I want to automatically update alle the other field.

For some reason the way I did it (via subform) is slowly changes the content of my tabel ?????? And I have no idea why it does this.

Any hints or tips are very welcome.

Thanks from Holland.

Check out the Dlookup funtion
and place it in the On Change event
of the combo.

Hope this helps.

Are you changing the value of a bound or unbound combo box? A bound control uses the field in the table as the "control source". If you change the value in the form, the change is reflected in the form.

You add a new combo box to the form. When you do this, the combo box wizard will start. Follow the thread that allows you to find a record on the form. This will create a combo box control that is not bound to the table, but will search for the matching record in the table.
