auto shutdown when run CD

Dear friend,

Everytimes when I insert a CD, it read for a while then my PC automatically shutdown and it still happens even I change my CD Drive.

My PC specs. Celeron 533, jetway 920 MB

Does the PC work normall for a long time if you don't insert a CD? Patrick

my PC will shutdown automatically around 15 to 20 minute using it even if i am not using a CD.

my cpu fan is running ok. its it something wrong with the power supply?

Do you have any temp monitors in your BIOS?

Sounds like either an overheat problem or power. What wattage is your Power Supply? Patrick
