Auto Restart after powerdown & stay secure

I want an XP Pro PC to automatically restart in event of power failure, and to run tasks without user intervention.

At the same time I want it to stay secure.

No password solves the first problem, but not the second.

Any suggestions?

auto restart would be a bios setting.. and to my knoweldge the only way to have things run without logging into a workstation/server is to make them a service..
