Auto Refresh Problem

We are using Broadcast Agent to schedule refresh of a number of reports each morning after a batch load completes.

We have set it up using filewatcher where the batch load of data, once complete, writes a file to a location and Broadcast Agent picks up the fact that the file exists and starts the refresh.

So far so good.

A number of the reports take input parameters such as date ranges and things such as department. All of the parameters other than dates need to be set to ALL before the refresh and the date ranges required each morning move each day.

Is there any way of populating these parameters (usually input by users when running the reports) before the daily refresh without rewriting all of the reports.

Any help gratefully received.

TIA

In BCA you should be able to provide default values for prompts.

As for the dates you should change the reports to make them dynamic, i.e. sysdate, sysdate + 1, etc

Tried the link you gave above but with no luck.

Could you repost please as this seems very interesting.

TIA.

It's a bug with this board. Copy the text starting with the HTTP part and it works fine.
