I am trying to get a aut-msg-wt light to work for a VDN. Since the VDN and mailbox number are the same it doesn't seem to like it. Accroding to all of the docs I should be able to use a aut-msg-wt button on my 6408 for a VDN mailbox. I was hoping to avoid having to make an x port station just for this and end up changing the mailbox or VDN numbers. I am running a G3V9.2.

Thanks!

Your message light won't light if you have any messages in the mailbox before you program the button.

I would recommend removing the button and cleaning out the mailbox and then reprogramming the button.

I hope this helps.

That still didn't work. The mailbox was empty and just tried and no light.

Zurichj, try using the following "messaging" line in your vector. (see step 32)where "split 10" is my Audix Hunt Group. Use YOUR own Audix Hunt Group number there; and "8333" is my VDN number. Use YOUR VDN number there.

Hy zurichj
you can also write in the vector

messaging skill for extension active

so you can use the vec for more vdn´s.
