Gang,

is there a way "Besides" using the screen saver to
Cntl+Alt+Del
or
Lock the workstation
after a user has inactivity on the pc ???

We dont want to use the screen saver. Is there a registry hack or possibly last option, freeware tool ?

thanks

Have a browse through these alternatives.

I know you don't want to use the Screen Saver, but did you consider this?

If you went with the Screen Saver you could set a Group Policy that would be a per user setting, Local Computer Policy/ User Configuration/ Administrative Templates/ Control Panel/ Display.

Remove the Screen Saver tab from Display in Control Panel.

This setting prevents users from using Control Panel to add, configure, or change the screen saver on the computer.
