I have a Citrix Metaframe xp Feature Realease 2 farm running on Windows 2000. In order for my clients to get to the network to log onto citrix I have to save the application set settings with in the client with the IP address to the farm. Here is my problem...
Whenever a person wants to log into this network on a windows 9x box, they have to log in using the Client for Microsoft Networks. Then click on the Citrix icon and log into Citrix. If someone logs into the network that has never used a particular machine, I have to configure the application set settings with the IP address all over again.
I want to remove the Client for Microsoft Networks so that the settings will stay the same regardless of who is sitting at the computer but still have the Citrix Client find the network. Whenever I take the Client for Microsoft Networks off, Citrix will not connect. Can anyone help?
