Auto launch 4.11

Can any one tell me how to set up so the Mac when it boots
automatically starts 4.11 instead of 5.0????

Most of my work comes in to me in 4.11 but after a reboot
it will launch 5.0 when I click on a quark file.

What ever is the last version of software that you install, is the default version that the Mac OS use's. So I would reinstall version 4.11, then reboot and REBUILD the desktop (Command + Option). If you can't fix it in 20 minutes call someone who can.

you can have QXP 4.11 and 5.0 on your MAc system at the sametime by just placing these two folders in different locations. Make shortcuts of both the QuarkXPress executable files and place them on ur desktop. So depending on which shortcut u click, the corrosponding version of QuarkXPress will be launched.

or u can have different drives as the location for the application to install...
