I have a spreadsheet with 19650 rows and 4 columns. Some of data in the columns is repeated as they are split by a company name. Like SUV is here.

eg FORD EXPLORER SUV 7seater
FORD EXPEDITION SUV 7seater
FORD MUSTANG COUPE 4seater
GMC YUKON SUV 7seater
VW TUREAG SUV 5seater
VW GOLF Family 5seater

Unfortunatley when I use auto-filter to display the unique single values in column 2, I've noticed that some of the values are not displayed.

I've read on a previous TT post that Excel has a column limit of 256 and a row limit of 65536. As I am way below the maximum number of rows can anyone tell me why I cannot display all the unique items?

An AutoFilter dropdown list will only show 1000 entries.

As a result, in a large database, the AutoFilter dropdown may not show all the items in the column.

Do you know how many unique items you have?
