Auto Enter Dates on Outlook Calendar

I work at a school where many of the faculty members share similar schedules - I would like to give them a "jump start" on using their Outlook calendars by getting their class schedules entered automatically in their personal calendars (We are using Exchange)at the beginning of the year. My idea was to create some script that could be emailed out that would enter more than one recurring appointment at a time on their calendars when run. Sort of like inviting them to many meetings at the same time. Is this even possible or am I dreaming? Is there a utility that might help? Thanks
