Auto Attendant Intuity 1

I have an issue with my auto-attendant. I have programmed it to transfer to certain hunt groupls like "press 1 for sales" etc. On button 8 I want it to transfer from 8100 to another auto-attendant 8111. On that auto-attendant it should say "please enter extension of the person you are trying to reach" according to the manual but it transfers to the operator. Everything else seems to be working fine. I must be missing something! I haven't recorded any announcements on the second Auto-Attendant but I am under the impression that I don't need to. Any suggestions?



Also I want to set up a greeting that says "for our hours please press 5" and have an announcement that says our hours and then gives them an option or automatically sends them back to the main attendant. Is that possible?

Do you have everything in the attendants in the Intuity? Also check the attendant and make sure you have it set to "t" transfer and its set to the right extension number.

You do need to record an announcemnt/greeting in the second auto attendant.
