Hi,
I have Audix 4.4 and I would like to know how I can add a step in an auto attend. I have an 800# that lists options press 1 for xxx etc. We would like to add the option: if you know your partys extension please enter it now. Is this Audix and if not could I use some sort of a vector, I only have basic vectoring on my G3siV6?

TIA
Tina

I think if you say "If you know your parties ext. press one",and direct the call to the switch with a vector "collect digits after ann _____, route to digits "it should work. I never tried it though.

Good luck

take two of these and call me in the morning

Vectors are always a a better way to go than the voice mail cuz most voice mails are dependant on a link. Even if u are not, voice mails go down much more often than a vectors.
If u have to use the voice mail have a step set up for the first digit of the extension and then put 'e' and 'tranfer'.

Da-vi'do

P.S. A message to all,if you want to get the best response to a question, please read FAQ222-2244 first. Also give the type & version of your voice mail & pbx system & preview your post to make sure it is complete & understandable. Be aware that if u don't answer a question, I usually will not continue to help u.
