Is this possible to setup
calendars in Public Folders for folks to view/book conference rooms/resources using an autoaccept feature
in Exch 2003
i know there were scripts for the 2k and 5.5 ?

thanks

you could do them manually. Someone asked this a couple of weeks back and I pointed them at the FAQ in the Exchange 5.5 forum which remains broadly the same in 2003. Have a look at that.

Go to the Exchange 5.5 forum. Click FAQ. Look for resource scheduling.

there is no way to autoaccept from a public folder. There is an autoaccept agent that needs to be installed for mailboxes to be able to autoaccept. The agent must be installed on each mail server where an "autaccepting" mailbox resides.

Only way to do this via public folders is to give all users rights to modify the calendar.
