I think the best you can do is reset the MWI under user management to resend the current MWI status to CM.
Changing the Log Configuration to Debug or Extensive may capture that information going forward, but I've not tested those options.
My AAM is a bit behind and due for an upgrade so my options may be limited.
Subscriber activity log should give you an idea if that light should be on (barring COS restrictions of course), not necessarily an easy-to-see thing though.
