Anyway of forwarding a private recorded message to another extension?

No using the system menus. Thats the point behind marking it private.

If you use message manager you could save the voice attachment and the forward it to someone who could use LVP(Lucent Voice Player) to listen to it.

simreal has the right answer

Message manager does the trick. I just did this with a voice mail left to an ex-employee. Save the message as a wav file via message manager and then email it to the second party...
