Audix Record Feature Not Working 1

I placed an Audix-Rec button on my phone, but when I am on a call and press this button, it doesn't do anything. I typed in our audix hunt group extension when I changed the button. Are there any features which need turned on?
Cos? Cor? Hunt Group permissions?
G3R v11. 2420 telephone.

It takes a few seconds for it to activate. You should hear a tone and then it is recorded in you VM box.
 
Is it enabled in the system? Do a "cha sys feat" and go to page 6 or 7. Look for

AUDIX ONE-STEP RECORDING
Apply Ready Indication Tone To Which Parties In The Call?

Change it to what ever your state law requires.

In the future everything will work...
 
I presume this is not available to G3si ver 10 since I cant find it on pages 4/5/6/7
 
It should be on your g3s1 at the bottom of page 6
 
I found my trouble. You cannot have console permissions - which average people will not.
I also have a release 8 PBX I would like to record on.
Same basic question as chiefred. In which release did this feature become available. I do not have the option in the older release. Is it something that can be turned on with the earlier releases?
 
It appears once again that all the cool toys showed up in vers 11+ and since I cant squeeze a nickel out of my employer for even tie-wraps, there is no hope to upgrade and I will sit and watch the world go by
