Okay... I swear when you installed a station with a coverage path to audix, but had no voicemail box. you would get a message that said "extension 0000 is not valid...etc"
Today when I try it it only rings, audix never picks up.
Just tried this and I do receive the "extension 0000" message. The only time I've received RNA on Audix is when I'm having problems and Audix is unavailable.
Susan You have all the characteristics of a popular politician: a horrible voice, bad breeding, and a vulgar manner. Aristophanes, 424 B.C. Lex clavatoris designati rescindenda est.
When you are ringing Audix and it doesn't pick up, do a status station xxxx and look to see what port you are connected to. From there troubleshoot the path. We had the same problem and it turned out to be a bad Audix port.
This is not limited to a single system. I have 26 sites and I've tested 4 of them problem is at all 4 sites. I was thinking it might be some software glitch. I have a definity audix ver. 3.2 thru 4.0, and definity v6 thru v10.
I can confirm that on my def audix (don't know what ver) and multivantage 11, I also get "extension 0000 not defined..." if that helps you in any way
Sounds like its picking up the ID from the attendant which is usually programmed as zero. I would go into the auto attendant routing schedule in Audix & translate 0000 to a bulletin mailbox or a transfer mailbox to send it off elsewhere into the switch.
