Opt 11 rls 3, CP release 4. The attendant dn routes thru a application in cp. (time of day conroll). When the att goes into nights (during the day) the call is sent back to another application. Instead of getting the recordings (that work when i dial nit1 directly) I get short bursts of dial tone over and over. The display on the m3904 i am dialing 0 from shows the acd and acid #'s for the cp ports. What am I doing wrong???

you may have a loop, your night schedule in cp does not cover the tod needed.. i would add an idc and use nit idc to send the call to a tod app that has option for both in and out of time params

The inital app does time of day cont. Inside of the time period it routes to attendant and out of the time period it routes to a night menu. When the console is in nights during the day (inside time period) is when this happens

check the params on that service.. set up a voice service dn for testing.. in the switch point it to mail with a maxp 1 acd... it usually best to set up test numbers for problems.

if your nit data is dn 2000 and points to mail vsdn for app x.. use a vacant number to point to the same app.. now you can test it without the conslole going into nights during the day..

I can call the nit 1 # (400)) directly, it goes to vm and the message plays fine. It only happens when the console sends calls to 4000 doing the night button.

the console sends 4000? the app in mail see's either the actual dialed dn or the output side if the idc table.. if 400 or 4000 is a vsdn, the mail cares not, it's looking at the number that person dial plus or minus an idc.. either use a nit idc or an app that matches the dialed dn..

In the cp app look at properties on the ATT block to see if the dn is 0 or to a specific dn. That may be a loop causing your results
