I asked this in a previous thread, but maybe I can describe it better. I have two 2250s. Through LD15 I have assigned LDN0 to LDA0 and LDN1 to LDA1, but both consoles still ring for both LDNs regardless. Even if that console isn't assigned to take that call. Any thoughts?

what are you trying to do? if you have trunks auto yes, point them to the atdn per att.

Here is the scenario that we are trying to accomplish. We have two 2250 consoles. Console one is in one building and Console two is in another. There are two main numbers 999-9999,LDN0 and 888-8888, LDN1.
We want to have 999-9999, LDN0, ring and appear on Console one. We want 888-8888, LDN1 ring and appear on Console two.
999-9999 is answered by the receptionist at Console one. 888-8888 is answered by Auto Attendant and when we press zero it is transferred to extension 333 which rings Console two.
Today we have an issue with 999-9999 ringing at both consoles and we do not want this.
I have gotten 999-9999 not to appear on Console two but it still rings there. It seems that only one of the consoles should be ringing when a call comes in although the console with LDN1 still rings also. Any thoughts?

Thanks, but I believe I just worked it out. If I run into any further complications I'll get back on.

How? posting solutions when you discover them is always helpful.

Someone else may have the same problem and was waiting for the answer on how to fix it, so please post the answer.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Well, I will post when I feel I have a definitive answer, which I do, but with one small issue.

It's more of an understanding of how to configure Load 15 rather than anything being defective.

I want 9999 to ring at console 01 only. I want 8888 to ring at console 02 only. Each console would totally ignore a call if it wasn't associated with it. However, if all operators were busy all calls would to go to the queue, a call waiting indication would appear on both consoles and both consoles would provide a momentary alert tone. As someone releases their call, the queue only presents them a call and alerts the console if it was assigned to that console, otherwise just an ICI indicator is lit still indicating a call is in queue for the other LDN. If it's not assigned to that Attendant, but you want to answer it you could select the ICI key for that call which is actually waiting to be pushed the the other LDN when available. Now, the only thing is I do not have any trunks so every thing I did was through internal stations dial a four digit LDN so I don't know that that would affect things.

Load 12
TN 002 0 00 01
ANUM 01

TN 002 0 00 03
ANUM 02

The solution was that in Load 15,
DLDN Yes
LDN0 9999
LDA0 01
LDN1 8888
LDA1 02

ICI 3 LD0
ICI 3 LD1

Your right that is how it's supposed to work.

For testing

If you have Analog station cards, you can connect them to a trunk a it will act just like a normal LOOP start trunk.
you call the DN of the Analog phone and it will ring in on the trunk.

An when you order trunks, make sure you get Ground start trunks and not LOOP start.

One correction: In Load 15, ref: ICI

ICI 3 LD0
ICI 4 LD1

Thanks all!!
