I need some help. If anyone is doing this, has done.....

I need to attach a footer with corp info/legal jargon to every email send from our exchange 2003 server.

I've found some 3rd party software that does this and most recommend.

is there anyway to do this without software?

Just above where you start creating a new thread, it says:

Before you start Use Keyword Search and check FAQ area for solutions.
Click Here for tips on how to write a "good" question.

And this question is covered at least once a week which keyword search would have shown. I think he was making a point - start fewer threads, search more - this is a product that has been out for 4 years and most things have now been covered.

Sorry guys, but I am on these forums constantly, anyone can vouch for that. I read every thread in the Exchange 2000/2003/2007 forums, Server 2000/2003 forums, as well as a few misc other ones. I don't think it's too much to ask posters to at least read the dang thread headers to see if there's one sitting right there in front of them screaming for them to read it and resolve their problem without posting yet another duplicate to a duplicate of a duplicate thread.

Not to mention the wonderful search function others have pointed out.

Friday or not...look before you leap is all I'm asking.

And ouch or not, I answered the question, but did I get a star for it? Noooooo!

I agree. This topic is discussed all the time. Some simple searching will keep the number of repetitive posts to a minimum.

Fair point, but might be worth an FAQ.

but .. but ... no-one will search for it or read it!

I was going to be kind of felt silly seeing as my first FAQ (and only one so far) was simply pointing to a KB article...which is exactly what this one would have been!

...and because still nobody would have read it...

>simply pointing to a KB article

Not, I hope, to the notorious event sink article? Most users will miss the dramatic importance of the Note near the end of that KB (a note, mind you, that didn't exist in the original version of the article)

Wow...you know what? I missed that. Interesting...so MS's own "solution" doesn't work with their own email client.
