I just purchased an ATI RADEON 7500 and when installed the monitor stayed blank when starting the computer. After that I reinstalled my original Nvidia TNT 2 and everything was fine. After taking the ATI back to the store i exchanged it for another one with hope of a bad card. Not the case. The computer went through the POST but would not output to the monitor. Any ideas?

I would remove all drivers for the old TNT prior to the installation of your new ATI. Set your display to vga then install your new card. If this does not work check your video settings, namely your refresh rate, make sure it set within the tolerance of your new card. good luck and keep us posted.

Are you getting the initialization screens for the bios displayed and just Windows doesn't work? Or does nothing ever get displayed to the screen?

Nothing would come up on the monitor. The POST would beep like normal and continue to work.
