Athlon KT7 & Soundblaster live hangs Pc

Anyone help me with a nightmare on my sblive ?
When installing it my pc hangs. have tried every slot on the board, different sblive & display, latest drivers etc,win98 & me, but still hangs after about 2 mins.remove scard & all o.k.
Abit kt7 (no raid) creative geforce, 128mb ram, athlon 850. [sig][/sig]

Boot to safe mode.
Go into Device manager, System devices, PCI bus.
Select Properties, IRQ steering tab.
Disable IRQ steering.
