I am trying to get an Analog Terminal Adapter to work on a 3900 series phone. I have made great progress, but still don't have dial tone and you can't talk or hear. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Have you programed the TN for the ATA?
It's 16 units higher than the set TN.
If set is TN 08 0 0 4, then ATA-TN is 08 0 0 20.
Needs cls= flxa vce and wta
and a key 0 scr xxxx (where xxxx is the DN)

Disconnect cord from set, plug it in the pwr-supply.
plug cord from pwr-supply into set.

LED on adapter should flash slowly if all is OK.

I have it programmed as a 3904 on TN 12 1 2 4 and 12 1 2 20. I can't get the 20 TN to take a CLS of WTA or VCE!

Got it. I had to change CPTA to CPTD before it would take WTA and VCE. Thank you for the help. Tim
