With help from bluescreen77 I was able to get one of my problem ASUS P3C's up and going with both sticks of RDRAM, now my other problem child.

Connected video card, processor, RAM (one stick + CRAM) and power, wow actually got video, really bad horrible video, but video.

Now the problems, I'm trying to flash BIOS, but I get a
Cannot load DOS! Any key to retry error with a collage of colors flashing above it, there is some sort of cryptic message but I can't make it out.

It shows the RDRAM as 400mhz versus 800mhz, this I can live with until I flash it.

Read manual, can't seem to find where to clear CMOS, so did it old fashioned way and removed battery. Still same problems.

Any ideas?

TIA

May be set of jumpers labeled JBAT1 on your motherboard...for the el flusho thing.

dunno' the BIOS you have but sounds like you maybe are trying (surely not) to flash the bios while in Windoze.
How are you doing it?

Thanks,
I have a Dr.DOS floppy, no windows here, this baby hasn't seen anything past POST...

No JBAT 1, have it out of the case, looked with flashlight, gonna go to ASUS site. The DI from PI
