Just wondering..

Do you have to have the CPU in the socket to get the computer to boot into the bios?

Or should you be able to boot into the bios on the motherboard without the cpu in the socket?

I have an ASUS P4S533

I have the ram in the motherboard

The CPU must be installed in order to get into BIOS on any MB.
