I configure quite a few systems with Asus motherboards and subsequently flash alot BIOS. When I run the Aflash utility, after flashing the utility asks me if I would like to flash again. (Y)Yes happens to be default. My question is, does anyone usually flash the BIOS more than once, if so why, is there some characteristic of a EEPROM that I am not aware of that requires you to do it multiple times for a good clean copy? Thanks.

Hi basweek,

I think they send a message before they ask you to run
flashing again in which they tell you if the former flash
is successful or not (check-sum comparison or stuff like
that, I don't know) They just want a manual choice
so that you can get out of the loop in case an error occurs.
If they said the flashing was OK, you don't have to do
it again.
