G'day

I have installed the CR9 runtime files on all the fat client pc's at work and 99% of them have been successful however 1 pc has a developer version of oracle or business objects, not sure which application is causing it, but it is blocking the runtime version and advising me that this file type requires Crystal Reports. I am trying to bypass this program by associating the report with the runtime version however I have not been successful. Does anyone have advice or similar experiences that could help. I have tried "open with" and pointing to some of the dll's but get the "not a valid 32 bit application error"

Have also tried the CR11 viewer but this is for static reports only and does not allow a refresh of data.

Try to open any folder, then go to Tools--> Folder Options--> File Type then scroll to the .rpt and select whichever application you wish.

Thanks MarsianStar,
I know how to associate a file type with an application I need to know what file to select to associate an rpt with Crystal Reports runtime version 9
