Assigning Sections in Aloha

Hola POS Gurus,

I'm curious to know if any version of Aloha will allow a manager to assign specific tables to servers for the duration of their shift? In other words, if I'm dividing the restaurant into 3-4 table sections for each server, will Aloha allow me to use my floor plan and reserve/ lock/ assign tables to specific servers until they clock out both when the tables are occupied with an open check and when they're not?

I hope I'm being clear in what I'm asking.

Aloha has a TABLE MANAGEMENT section that was developed with a restaurant chain, Texas Roadhouse, "STATION & SERVER MANAGEMENT". The Aloha Guest Manager allows for assigning a section(certain tables)on the fly. I have setup a few other POS systems(TEC, Micros, Rpower, Sliver)and they allow a manager to assign tables. The aloha has more depth to fine tune assigning tables. I am new to aloha but have been peeling back the features to teach my restaurant managers how to use it...kicking and screaming, by the way.

Ya, sorry had a "coors" moment lol - like DOS1607 said, not really possible with just table service.

Gotcha... Hey, DOS1607, what do you know about the Guest Manager application that you mentioned? Have you seen it cause any errors/ exceptions when fully integrated with the POS? I'm doing work with Texas Roadhouse right now, ironically... Maybe you and I can talk offline?
