Hi,
Im tryin to subdivide the address block as follows 200.100.152.0/22
200 hosts at headquarters, 8 remote sites with 50,50,40,40,25,25,25,20,20 hosts on each subnet, 9 subnets altogether. Here are the subnets ive calculated:
Sub-block#1: 200.100.152.0/22 200 hosts
Sub-block#2: 200.100.153.0/26 50 hosts
Sub-block#3: 200.100.153.64/26 50 hosts
Sub-block#4: 200.100.153.128/26 40 hosts
Sub-block#5: 200.100.153.192/26 40 hosts
Sub-block#6: 200.100.154.0/27 25 hosts
Sub-block#7: 200.100.154.32/27 25 hosts
Sub-block#8: 200.100.154.64/27 20 hosts
Sub-block#9: 200.100.154.96/27 20 hosts
All the remote sites have to be linked to the Head Quarter site via WAN links, with separate routers at both ends.
I have 16 routers and 9 lans, I do not know how to assign IP addresses to routers (LAN & WAN). Any help much appreciated...

Hi,

I dont quite understand your subnetting, Blocks 1 Range covers 200.100.152.0 to 200.100.155.254
Where all the other blocks fall into that range.

Hi
Thanks anyway but i resolved it, i created 8 new subnets each with 2^2 - 2 addresses for the leased lines so each of the router interfaces had 2 IPs, 200.100.154.128/30 to 200.100.154.156/30
