I'm having trouble assigning individual lines to a calling group. I inspected all calling groups and they were all empty. I can assign pool 70 to calling group 770 by deleting all the lines from the pool, assigning pool 70 to calling group 770, then reinput all the lines into the pool. I have a T1 card (100D) with TIE Trunks. I tried busying out the T1 card and assigning the individual lines, but that didn't work. What else would be the problem?

Are you using winspm? I think a lot of trunk assignments like this have to be made with the console phone or the standard spm mode. Give a little more detail on what you are trying to do.

USUALLY when T-1 service is used, the inbound traffic comes in via DNIS, or to specific extensions. If this is the case, assign extensions or adjuncts that match the inbound DNIS, to the VMS cover group with appropriate ,ailboxes in the VMS.

I have tried using the consloe and the standard spm. What I'm trying to do is listed about 2 posts before this one. The problem that I am having is I can't get my automated attendant to pick up until it times out.
