I have an internal DNS server running on windows 2000 server, with a forward lookup zone pointing to our ISP's DNS's. It is also running DHCP with server options pointing the IP pool to my ISPs DNS. Is this correct or should I change the DHCP options to point to the server as it's DNS? And if so, what is the point of pointing each local machine to the server for its DNS, if DHCP will give it the same DNS info?

Thank you
