assigning an ip address to an 6509 msm module

Had to replace an MSM the other day, such a palaver getting an ip address into it, nearly had to type the full running config in...anyone know how the least number of commands to assign an ip so I can tftp the config...

I'm buying a supervisor engine flash card and saving all the files to there for next time but until then I'd just like to know..
 
You can always yank the nvram out of the old one. Sorry I've never used a MSM, always a MSFC.

it's exactly like IOS -

conf t
ip subnet-zero

ip address xxx.yyy.zzz.aaa sub.net.mask.here

many thks, you win...though I'm not going to try it yet as new modules are working a treat with no errors.....

suspect both modules were trashed by power outage so have bought ups...
